Merry Christmas!
Hello everyone! I am writing from sunny Sanibel Island, Florida, where Sophia and I are spending a few days post-Christmas. Brent is back in Baltimore. He had to return to do some work and to knock off a few house projects (of which there are many).
We had a really wonderful Christmas in Hamilton where we were visiting Brent's family. It was great to see everyone! Phyllis and Terry totally outdid themselves with the Christmas decorations this year (and every year). Their house looked unbelievable!!
Sophia had a very merry first Christmas. She LOVED her new toys. She got spoiled rotten, with things and with attention. In the "things" department, she got books, videos, stuffed animals, blocks, a train that sings and moves, a noah's arc, toy animals, ornaments with her picture and name on them, a toy basket, a green sofa chair that says "Sophia" and is just her size, and much more. We are overwhelmed with everyone's thought and generosity.
Brent, Sophia and I will be celebrating New Years together in the DC/Baltimore area, and look forward to a 2008 filled with happiness, joy and laughter.
Wishing all of our friends and family love, peace and good health in 2008 and beyond. We miss you!
Erika, Brent and Sophia
