Hi everyone,

This past weekend, June 16th, was filled with lots of excitement -- Brent and I got married!! Sophia was the guest of honor, of course. Our ceremony and reception took place at my parent's home in Potomac, Maryland. It was an outdoor, evening wedding poolside and in a big tent. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful -- in the low 80's -- and everything went super smoothly and as planned. It was like a fairytale. We had a wonderful time!!! I am so happy to be starting a life and family together. We will definitely share photos of the wedding as soon as we get our hands on some, so check back soon!

Our Trip to Sanibel

Hey everyone,

It has been a very busy but exciting past month! As you probably know, Brent and I got married on June 16th at my parent's house in Potomac. We had the most wonderful and memorable time! We are still waiting on the photographer's photos but will share them with you as soon as we have them.

After our wedding, we went to Charlottesville, Virginia for another wedding and then set out for our "honeymoon" to Sanibel Island, Florida (with little Sophia, of course). The trip to Sanibel was a great getaway and very relaxing. We stayed at my family's condo overlooking the water. It was very hot weather so we got in some good pool and beach time. Sophia absolutely loved the pool; we took her in for her first time on our trip. She splashed around and then acted shocked every time droplets of water touched her face!

We were able to capture some good kodak moments on our trip and are posting them here.

Following Sanibel, we moved into our new home in Baltimore and started unpacking. We still have unpacking to do but the house is coming together and we are thrilled to finally be getting settled together and in one place!

It is now the second week in July and we are in Ohio where we attended a wedding (it is the summer of weddings) and are now visiting Brent's family which has been nice.
